Welcome to HIGH STAR LIFE LTD. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our shopping websites, highstarlife.co.ke and highstarlife.com, as well as all purchases made for our wholesale and retail product categories.

By accessing, browsing, registering an account, or purchasing products from HIGH STAR LIFE LTD, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our websites or services.

1. Account Registration & Security

  • To access certain features or place bulk wholesale orders, you may be required to register a user account with us.
  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (username and password) and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms and Conditions.

2. Product Information, Pricing & Availability

  • Product Descriptions: We strive to display accurate descriptions, images, and categories (including Cereals, Beverages, Fats & Oils, Tissues & Serviettes, Sugars, Salts & Spices, Food Additives, Snacks, Cleaning Supplies, Personal Care, Stationery, and Baby Products). Minor packaging variations may occur from manufacturers.
  • Pricing: All prices listed on our platform are displayed in Kenya Shillings (KES) and are subject to change without prior notice. Wholesale pricing tiers are applicable to qualified bulk purchases.
  • Stock Availability: All products are subject to stock availability. In the event an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will notify you promptly to offer a replacement, delayed delivery, or a full refund.

3. Orders & Payment Terms

  • Order Confirmation: Placed orders constitute an offer to purchase and are subject to acceptance and confirmation by HIGH STAR LIFE LTD.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via M-Pesa, direct bank transfer (EFT/RTGS), and cash or M-Pesa on store pickup.
  • Payment Verification: Orders will only be processed and dispatched once full payment or official wholesale credit arrangements have been confirmed and verified.
  • Order Cancellation: Retail orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch by contacting customer support. Once dispatched, returns are handled in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy.

4. Shipping, Delivery & Self-Pickup

  • Countrywide Delivery: We deliver orders across Kenya at a calculated delivery fee based on location and parcel weight/volume, as detailed in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
  • Store Pickup: Customers may choose to collect their orders free of charge from our physical shop located at Chady Road, Syokimau, Machakos County, Kenya during official operating hours.
  • Risk & Title: Ownership of products passes to you upon full payment. Risk of loss or damage transfers upon delivery to your provided address or upon collection from our store.

5. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

All returns and refund requests are governed by our Refund & Return Policy. Key highlights include:

  • Eligible returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.
  • Unsealed or opened food perishables, hygiene items, tissues, and personal care goods are non-returnable unless delivered defective or expired.
  • Wholesale bulk orders must be inspected at the point of delivery alongside our dispatch team.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on highstarlife.co.ke and highstarlife.com—including text, graphics, logos, images, digital downloads, and website code—is the property of HIGH STAR LIFE LTD or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws of Kenya. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, HIGH STAR LIFE LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use our websites, products, or delivery services. Our maximum liability for any claim arising out of an order shall not exceed the total price paid for the specific order in question.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes or claims arising from these terms or your use of our platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

9. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be effective immediately upon posting on this page with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
